Sugar Content in Drinks explained and compared with Gincent:

Brix is a scale used to measure the sugar content in liquids. Specifically, it indicates the percentage of sugar by weight in a liquid solution. For example, a 20° Brix measurement means that 20 grams of sugar are present in every 100 grams of the liquid. Gincent beverages contain 13° Brix which is relatively lower than most other liquors. To give you an idea: Sweet Liqueurs and Likorettes like Triple Sec, Amaretto, Irish Cream, Coffee Liqueurs, Fruit Liqueurs contain 15° to 40° Brix. Dessert or Cordial Liqueurs like Crème de Cassis, Crème de Menthe, Grand Marnier, Chambord contain 30° to 50° Brix or higher. Likorettes often have Brix values ranging from 20° to 40°, depending on the sweetness and type of beverage.

  • LOW-Brix Likorettes: These are less sweet and may appeal to health-conscious consumers.
  • HIGH-Brix Likorettes: These are sweeter, making them ideal for desserts or sipping.

The Gincent likorettes have a Brix level of 13°, indicating a low-sweet profile with a balanced richness. It’s perfect for sipping neat or enhancing your favorite desserts or cocktails.
